In new legal documents obtained Monday, Kelly’s attorney, Beau B. Brindley, alleges the R&B singer was forcibly removed from the hospital at gunpoint and denied emergency surgery for blood clots in his lungs. “Unfortunately for government counsel, there will be no jurisdictional refuge from that motion and the truth it will uncover,” Brindley said. “From that, try as they might, there will be no technical argument behind which government counsel can hide.”
