Trump Family Announces 'Trump Mobile' Cellular Company

President Trump and his family have announced the launch of Trump Mobile, aiming to take on industry heavy hitters like Verizon, AT&T, Apple, and Samsung. The company will produce its own phone.

“A big part of what we’ve done … has been focused on technology for people who have been underserved, whether that’s been in crypto or anything else, but one of the places where we felt there was lackluster performance was in the mobile industry,” Donald Trump Jr. said on Monday at a launch event.

According to CNN, the plan will have a $47.45 a month plan, a nod to Trump’s 45th and not current 47th presidency. In addition, the company will have a gold-hued “T1” smartphone at a pre-order of $599 this coming Monday.

“You’re not calling up call centers in Bangladesh,” Eric Trump said of the new service. “You’re doing it right out of St. Louis, Missouri.”
