Shoe Palace is stepping up to support the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firefighters’ Fund with a portion of profits from the new Jordan Flight Court sneaker, going to help families devastated by the January 2025 California wildfires.
The Fund, which assists families of firefighters who are injured, killed, or facing crisis, has supported 25 LAFD families whose homes were damaged or destroyed in the fires. Among them are four firefighters whose stories Shoe Palace is spotlighting: Jerry Puga and Dan Lievense of the LAFD, Chien Yu of the Pasadena Fire Department, and Isaac Baeza of Cal Fire. All have dedicated their careers to battling fires, and three lost their own homes in the Altadena area during the January fires. Lievense was able to save his home and those of his neighbors on his block.

In tribute, Shoe Palace is releasing a special version of the Jordan Flight Court, a sneaker that blends design elements from the Air Jordan 3, 4, and 5. Crafted with leather and suede, the shoe features breathable textile panels, custom detailing, and a nod to Jordan’s heritage with unique embroideries and hangtags.
This initiative aims to raise awareness and funds for the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firefighter’s Fund while honoring the bravery and sacrifices of California’s frontline heroes. By purchasing the exclusive sneaker, customers directly contribute to rebuilding the lives of those who have long risked everything for their communities.
