Major League Baseball has unveiled the first wave of participants for the 2025 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game presented by GEICO, set to take place on Saturday, July 12 at Truist Park in Atlanta. The five-inning exhibition game, benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, will bring together a mix of music, sports, fashion, and entertainment figures just days ahead of the 2025 T-Mobile Home Run Derby and MLB All-Star Game.
Among the headliners are Yankees legend and 2025 Hall of Fame inductee CC Sabathia, Olympic softball greats Jennie Finch and Natasha Watley, and former MLB stars Marquis Grissom Jr. and Chipper Jones, who are slated to manage the All-Star Futures Game earlier that day.
Sabathia, a six-time MLB All-Star, 2007 Cy Young Award winner, and 2009 World Series champion, will be making his third appearance in the celebrity game. With over 3,000 career strikeouts, he joins an elite group of southpaws in MLB history and remains active off the field through the PitCCh In Foundation and Grapefruit Media.
Finch returns for a record 15th time in the Celebrity Softball Game. Widely regarded as one of the best softball pitchers ever, she captured gold and silver Olympic medals for Team USA and now serves as a league advisor for Athletes Unlimited Softball.
Watley, participating in her fifth appearance, is also an AUSL advisor and former Olympic teammate of Finch. A UCLA Hall of Famer, she helped lead the Bruins to the NCAA Division 1 championship and is known as one of the top shortstops in softball history.
The celebrity roster also includes Quavo, Young Miko, Eladio Carrión, Myke Towers, Wisin, Druski, Jerry Lorenzo, Mariah the Scientist, and Jordan Chiles.
Fans attending All-Star Saturday at Truist Park will have access to both the Futures Game at 4:00 p.m. and the Celebrity Softball Game immediately afterward. Tickets start at $50 and are available at AllStarGame.com.
The Celebrity Softball Game will stream live across MLB’s digital platforms at approximately 8:30 PM ET and will be televised by MLB Network on Monday, July 14 at 1:00 PM ET.
