Whelp, that’s that in the eyes of the court, for now. Rapper and YouTuber DDG’s push for a temporary restraining order against his former partner Halle Bailey has reportedly been rejected by a judge.
Check this out. The clear ruling clears the way for Bailey to continue her international travel plans to Italy with her 17-month-old son, Halo.
The emphatic denial follows an emergency motion filed by DDG on June 4, 2025.
In the motion, he alleged that Bailey posed what he described as an “imminent emotional and psychological risk” to their child.
What’s more, DDG referenced past instances of alleged erratic behavior and threats of self-harm as part of his reasoning. DDG also requested full legal and physical custody of their son, or, at the very least, for any custody handoffs to occur through a third party.
The fight rages on.
That said, Bailey fired back by filing her legal response challenging the motion. She made it clear that her upcoming travel was work-related. She emphasized that she had made efforts to arrange monitored visitation for DDG despite a temporary restraining order being placed against him on May 13, 2025. In her court filings, Bailey also requested that the judge prevent DDG, along with his relatives and affiliates, from posting anything related to her, their child, or the ongoing legal situation on social media platforms.
